In December 2008, our old friend Brina Schenk from Blue Skies And Daisies (RIP) and Two Owls Collect enlisted our help in bringing a micro-romance to fruition for their Ready2Wear collection.
The scenes were prepared in felt and scraps from a local surplus craft store in Vancouver and we found ourselves lost in the tiny details of the couple’s imagined romance as we built up the world in which our 2D friends shared a life. Miles Davis posters, the jug of cartoon booze, the Fender Frontman… as we added more of these touches, The Little Things came to life.
