In October of 2009, Lindsey Heywood of the Divinity Dance Company approached us about creating a spot for their upcoming spring production. We’ve worked with Lindsey in the past, and it was a pleasure to put the promo together with her and her team.
We worked with DVD footage of one of the group’s last productions, and sewed together something meaningful to the message of their upcoming piece. Their logo was clean and elegant, and we felt like we needed to add some crows into the mix, so bookended the piece with some custom animation.
The Power of Lipstick is Divinity’s upcoming tribute to women. If you are in the Montreal area on March 6th, make sure you check out the work of this emerging company.
